Un nome che rimanda all’Islanda, chiaro omaggio all’omonimo poeta e scrittore dell’isola nordica Sigurjón Birgir Sigurðsson, e una passione, di cui non fanno mistero, per l’approccio alla sperimentazione di artisti come Radiohead, Bjork e Murcof: parliamo dei Sjón, gruppo polacco proveniente da Łódź. La loro musica, senza dubbio influenzata dai mostri sacri già citati, è un rock sperimentale ricco di interessanti spunti, chitarre distorte, feedback e inserimenti elettronici.
