Quattro anni. Un traguardo importantissimo per la nostra redazione che, sin dal 2010 e con una crescita continua di contributi, rubriche e proposte, lavora a questo “folle” progetto mossa dal solo desiderio di portare alla luce iniziative artistiche meritevoli di attenzione e spesso snobbate dai media tradizionali.

Anche stavolta, per festeggiare il nostro quarto compleanno ringraziando lettori assidui e non, cogliamo l’occasione per mettere in primo piano la musica: il regalo che vi facciamo è la compilation My AweSOMe Birthday: 4 Years Old, che racchiude tutti gli artisti finora presentati nel nostro progetto collaterale Som Non-Label.

Dodici tracce che si muovono tra i generi più vari, dall’alt. folk al post-rock passando per shoegaze e folktronica, con la novità Filmloom, il duo statunitense composto da Eric Tempelaere e Brandon Bowker, new entry della nostra etichetta virtuale e qui presente con due singoli, “L i m i t” e “R o b i n h o o d“.

L’artwork è opera del giovane artista venezuelano Jesús Devia (jesusdevia.com.ve).
